The Rising Stars facility is planning on hosting a week long basketball tournament August 1st to August 5th that will showcase the top Varsity Basketball athletes in the surrounding Ohio area. The tournament intends to  focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and the skillset in the sport of basketball. All players from grades 9-12 are welcome with a minimum of 8 teams participating in order to run the tournament. Each team must have 9 total players that can perform throughout the week, while each team will contain either a Ninth-Tenth grader, while the upper class students tournament will contain eleventh- twelfth graders. The tournament will run in a double elimination style of format to ensure playing time for each team that's entered. Game times for the tournament will begin at 1:00pm and vary with each game being played.

Dates and Times:

• The tournament will run from August 1st to August 4th with the Championship game being held August 5th

• Game times to be announced at the event

Cost:

• $270.00 per team

  • (For individuals that plan on participating: $30.00)

Registration:

• Registration opens January 1st and ends on July 1st

• Registration via Online, Direct mail, or in person

Group Discounts:

• If five or more participants register together, each person is eligible for a 5% discount on all goods purchased at Dicks Sporting Goods.

• If all nine participants register together, each person is eligible for a 10% discount on all goods purchased at Dicks Sporting Goods.

• Out of state participants are eligible to receive a 25% discount for a night stay at Courtyard Hamilton Hotel
